Association of Tirzepatide With Glycaemic Control and Weight Loss in a Real-World Cohort of Patients With Type 2 Diabetes From the United States

Using integrated claims, structured EHR, and laboratory data, 6-month HbA1c changes and weight loss were assessed overall and stratified by baseline GLP-1 RA use and HbA1c level. HbA1c reductions were greater without prior GLP-1 RA use or HbA1c ≥7%. Weight loss was greater without prior GLP-1 RA use or HbA1c <7%.

Real-World Effectiveness of Tirzepatide versus Semaglutide on HbA1c and Weight in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

 

Real-world data (claims data, EHR, lab values) were analyzed to determine and compare tirzepatide and semaglutide in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Outcomes included HbA1c levels, weight change, treatment adherence, and cost and showed greater effectiveness over 12 months with tirzepatide.

Retrospective Analysis of Burden of Illness of Congenital Pulmonary Valve Disease (CPVD) in a Large, Commercially Insured US Population

This analysis spanned 18 years of claims data for individuals with CPVD. The per-patient and mean annual costs were determined from birth through age 65 years, showing a high financial burden and demanding care that began early and persisted throughout patients’ lives.
